Višegrad Fortress

Medieval Serbian Višegrad Fortress is located in the gorge of Prizren Bistrica. It was built for defensive purposes against attacks, and as a protection for Serbian Orthodox Monastery of the Holy Archangels, built by Serbian Emperor Dušan Silni.
